Ningbo University of Finance&Economics, located in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province, is a full-time private undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education of China. It is one of the first pilot demonstration universities for the construction of applied undergraduate programs in Zhejiang Province. The school was founded in 2001, formerly known as Ningbo Dahongying Vocational and Technical College. In 2008, it was upgraded and renamed as Ningbo Dahongying College. On November 30, 2018, Ningbo Dahongying College was renamed Ningbo University of Finance and Economics. The school has a total of 39 undergraduate majors and 5 vocational majors, covering five university disciplines including economics, management, engineering, literature, and art. There are over a thousand faculty members and 20000 full-time students on campus.
